All of us here are delighted that St. Joseph’s CBS Nenagh has been ranked in first place for all boys secondary schools for progression to higher education and third place overall in Co. Tipperary as published in the recent Irish Independent Feeder Schools 2020 Supplement.
As you can see below 98% of our leaving certificate students progressed to third level in 2020 and 95% in 2019. This is testimony to the dedication and hard work of our students, management team, staff and the tremendous support of parents in co-operating fully with the school to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
This is manifested by the increasingly large number of parents who decide to send their sons to school at St. Joseph’s CBS Nenagh. We had 65 students complete their study as part of the Leaving Certificate Class of 2020 and 115 students enroll for August 2020, a 77% increase.
Consequently, we are delighted to inform you that the building contractors are nearing the completion of five new additional classrooms to cater for the increased demand which will be completed by March 2021.
We are glad to inform you that we will be accepting enrolments for the First Year classes of 2021 from next Monday 11th January until 4pm on Friday 12th February 2021.
