School Uniform 2016/2017
In September 2012, our new school uniform was introduced in co-operation with the Parents’ Council, Students’ Council and Staff. Our crested school jumpers and jackets are available at Slattery’s Menswear and Jim McLoughney’s in Nenagh. All other parts of the uniform can be purchased in stores of your choice.
All students must have appropriate school shoes. Shoes must be plain black in colour and leather in appearance. Plain navy deck shoes will be permitted. Any form of sports shoes or trainer will not be permitted, even if it is black leather. If you have any queries regarding appropriate school shoes, please feel free to contact the school office.
The only jacket that students will be permitted to wear during the school day is the official, crested uniform jacket. This includes the journey to and from school. Non-uniform hoodies and jackets will be confiscated and a parent will be asked to collect them from the school office
Students are not permitted to have visible body piercings. In relation to piercings, the use of retainers or plasters will not be allowed.
Please ensure that your son wears his correct uniform to school everyday. if your son wears anything other than the appropriate uniform and footwear to school, he will not be permitted to attend class until the correct uniform is worn.
We are very proud of our school uniform and make no apology for setting a high standard for our students in this regard.
